Investing in the leading researchers of the future

Our vision is to identify and fund the leading researchers of the future. We do this through calls for research grants and targeted initiatives in areas prioritised by the board. We want our funding to make a difference to researchers and research in Sweden.

Areas we support

We primarily fund researchers and research in medicine, economic sciences and law, and we occasionally undertake special initiatives.

The foundation has a particular focus on early-career researchers.

Economic sciences

Since the programme was launched in 2012, the Ragnar Söderberg Foundation has awarded a total of SEK 154 million to 18 Ragnar Söderberg Fellows in Medicine.

Medicine

Sedan 2012 har Ragnar Söderbergs stiftelse beviljat totalt 330 miljoner kronor till 43 projekt i medicin.

Law

Since 2012, the foundation has awarded more than SEK 125 million to research projects and early-career positions in law.

Special initiatives

Through its special initiatives, the foundation provides funding to both researchers and organisations.
