Since 2012, we have awarded more than SEK 154 million to 18 research projects.

Calls for proposals
Between 2013 and 2018, the Foundation funded projects carried out by small research groups in economic sciences. The calls addressed a need for funding for collaborations between researchers, either at the same university or at different universities.
The last call for project grants was launched in 2025, and the intention is to issue calls on a regular basis.

Purpose
The purpose of this grant is to provide promising early-career researchers with long-term funding, enabling them to pursue a research project within a small research group. Grants are awarded to projects based on innovative ideas and led by researchers with a strong scientific track record. The grant is aimed at researchers who received their PhD no more than ten years ago and are based at a Swedish university. Projects may run for up to four years.
Grant recipients become part of a network and are invited to an event celebrating the most recently awarded researchers.
