For researchers applying for a grant or already receiving funding from the foundation.
What we fund
The foundation primarily funds researchers and research in law, economic sciences and medicine through open calls for proposals in which applications are assessed on a competitive basis. Over the next few years, the foundation will prioritise calls in law and economic sciences.
The board may also initiate special funding initiatives that are aligned with the foundation’s overall vision of identifying and funding the leading researchers of the future. If you would like to discuss an idea for such an initiative, please contact our CEO.

Changes to an existing grant
If circumstances change and you need to extend the project period or reallocate the budget of an existing grant, you can apply for approval to do so through the SBS application platform.
Grant reporting
At the end of the project period, you must submit your final report through the SBS application platform.
